There’s a comment I often hear from friends when they asked why they are actively involved. “You cannot complain if you aren’t willing to do something.” So, I’m asking … have you commented? USDA Labeling Comment Period Ends Dec. 26. I know many South Dakotans care about truth in labeling. Consumers and livestock producers alike want to ensure that cell-cultured/petri-dish protein is not labeled as meat. We all have a right to know what we’re eating. However, when I checked the USDA comment website today, only 239 individuals, in the ENTIRE NATION have sent comments. Are you one of the 239? If not, let’s do something about it.
