Legislative Day is nearly here! Every year at this time Farmers Union members from across the the state gather in Pierre to advocate on behalf of South Dakota’s farmers and ranchers. It is a great opportunity to voice your concerns to legislators and see how the state’s political process really works. Members have the opportunity to sit in on committee hearings, eat lunch with legislators, and attend the legislative sessions in the afternoon. As individuals our voices often get drowned out by all the noise. However, our voices united, as they are on legislative day, we can make a difference. I would encourage to attend.
